Your privacy is important to us. This Data Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Tomodachi app("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

This Policy is adopted in accordance with Republic Act No.10173, known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012("Act), its implementing Rules and Regulations, and other relevant policies, including issuance of the National Privacy Commission.

This Policy will inform all user's and customer's on what the Company's data protection and security measures regarding the collection, use, processing, disclosure, retention, disposal, and care of its user's and customer's personal data, and may serve as their guide in exercising their rights under the Act.

Tomodachi App values the data and privacy rights inherent in each in each of its clients and customers. In ensuring the security of the personal information given by its clients and customers, the Company is issuing this Data Privacy Policy("Policy").

• Account Information: Name, email address, date of birth, gender, and profile details.
• Verification Information: ID documents and selfies for identity verification. Users are required to provide a selfie to ensure their ID matches their identity.
• Payment Information: Details necessary for in-app purchases, such as payment card information, processed securely by third-party payment processors.

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, IP address, and app usage statistics.
• Location Data: If you enable location services, we may collect your geolocation to recommend nearby meetups and venues.

• We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
• To create and manage your account.
• To verify your identity and ensure the safety of the community.
• To process in-app purchases and send physical and virtual gifts.
• To improve the App’s functionality and user experience.
• To send you notifications, updates, and promotional content (with your consent).
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activities.

• Public profile information such as your name, photo, interests, and status will be visible to other users.
• Users have the right to choose if they want to accept physical gifts from other users. If a user opts to accept a physical gift, their address will remain private. Tomodachi will facilitate the delivery by sending the gift to the recipient without disclosing their address to the sender.

• For payment processing, ID verification, analytics, and customer support.

• If required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the App.

• Update or edit your profile information directly in the App.
• Opt out of marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe” in the email.

• You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems, except where retention is required for legal or compliance purposes.

Tomodachi is strictly for users aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we discover an underage user, their account will be terminated, and their data will be deleted.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
